Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) 2025: What Raleigh–Durham Seniors Need to Know

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 through December 7, 2025. During this time, you can:

  • Switch from Original Medicare to Medicare Advantage (Part C)

  • Change your Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan

  • Return from Medicare Advantage back to Original Medicare

This is the most important window of the year for reviewing your coverage. Any changes you make will take effect January 1, 2026.
